Walter Hoy first made them in his workshop around 1944. The Original Salt-Water® sandal is defined by its hand-stitched, non-slip molded rubber sole and its scratch- and water-resistant genuine leather upper. All Salt-Water® sandals are easy to clean, come with rustproof brass buckles and are designed for use in and out of the water.
